The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has removed the Fagge Divisional Officer following the death of a suspect in custody. The divisional officer, along with all officers and men on duty at the time of the incident, have also been handed over to the Nigerian Police, Kano State Command, for further investigation and necessary action. Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) started 2026 with sharp outflows, shedding a combined $681 million over the first full trading week of the year. According to data from SoSoValue, spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs recorded four consecutive days of net outflows between Tuesday and Friday, outweighing inflows earlier in the week. PREMIUM TIMES reported how a magistrate’s court in Jigawa State issued an arrest warrant for Ifeanyi Onyewuenyi. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Bauchi State has confirmed that nine passengers lost their lives, while 10 others sustained injuries in a fatal road crash in the state. CC Apaji Danladi Boyi, the Sector Commander of FRSC,, revealed this on Friday while briefing journalists in his office.
