Disregard online links claiming e-registration, it’s fraud – ADC warns Nigerians

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned the public against a series of fraudulent online links and social media handles claiming to be the party’s official membership registration platform. This was contained in an official statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi on Sunday. NDLEA arrests 80-year-old ex-convict, uncovers illicit drugs in mannequins

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said its operatives have arrested an 80-year-old grand father, Jeremiah Isaiah Nkanta, barely three years after he was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to two years imprisonment for dealing in illicit drugs. NDLEA stated that Nkanta was first arrested by NDLEA on 14th December 2022, prosecuted and sentenced to two years in jail by a Federal High Court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
