The management of Chrisland School, Ikeja, Lagos, has denied an alleged plan to seek the exhumation of the corpse of Whitney Adeniran, a 12-year-old pupil of the school who died on 9 February during an inter-house sports competition. Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) on Wednesday announced the resumption of oil exports from the Bonny crude oil export terminal. The resumption follows the lifting of force majeure on crude oil exports at the facility. Force majeure is a provision that relieves the parties from performing their contractual obligations when certain circumstances beyond their control arise.
