The electoral officer in charge of Maradun Local Government Area in Zamfara State, Bashir Shagari, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. Shagari, according to a source, was coming to INEC collation center in Gusau to deliver the results of the governorship election for Maradun Local Government when he was kidnapped along the road on Monday. The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege, on Monday lost the governorship seat to the Peoples Democratic Party’s Sheriff Oborevwori. A jury seated in Florida has convicted three men over the death of late rapper, Jahseh Ricardo Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTentacion. Michael Boatwright, 28, Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24 were all found guilty of first-degree murder and armed robbery in Broward County court on Monday, NBC News reports.
