All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Imo State chapter, has alleged that Governor Hope Uzodinma-led All Progressives Congress, Government in the State is forcing civil servants to register in the ongoing e-registration exercise. Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has etched his name into history as the first African musician to be conferred with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy. The honour was bestowed posthumously at the 2026 Special Merit Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 31, a day before the main Grammy Awards ceremony. Joseph Atule has sealed a move to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Barau FC. Atule joined the Maliya Boys from NPFL giants Enyimba. The energetic forward featured sporadically for the People’s Elephant this season. Atule managed only nine appearances for Enyimba. His move to Kano with Barau FC is expected to help revive his career in the NPFL. Atule was one of the top performers in the NPFL during the 2022-23 season. He turned down a big money move to Rivers United to join Enyimba in 2023. Atule previously played for Lobi Stars in the NPFL.
