Suspected gunmen have reportedly killed two people in a deadly attack on Iwanev community at Ugbema Junction in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State. Sources said a group of unidentified gunmen invaded the community under the cover of darkness, killing two residents on the spot and abducting three others to an unknown destination. A fire outbreak on Wednesday gutted sections of Abbatuwa Cemetery in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State, destroying several parts of the burial ground. The incident occurred at about 2:02 p.m. when the Kano State Fire Service received a distress call from resident Bashir Hassan, who reported the fire. The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority has said Nigeria will begin exporting urea in 2028 as the country positions itself as a major hub for value-added oil and gas products.
