The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) has announced plans to support the development of a more affordable and easier-to-deploy Ebola vaccine, a move aimed at improving access in low- and middle-income countries where outbreaks remain frequent. The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, has announced that gradual power supply restoration has commenced, hours after the national grid collapsed on Monday, 23rd January 2026, around 12:40 pm. The disco spokesperson, Emeka Ezeh, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
