Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has pledged that he will not impose candidates on communities during the 2027 general elections, insisting that people have the right to choose their representatives. The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested 21 illegal miners in Zurmi and Maradun Local Government Areas of the state.
