Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced minor changes to his cabinet, with a newly appointed commissioner, Leader Leneke, heading the Ministry of Information. Two commissioners swapped portfolios, as Sali Idris moved from the Ministry of Livestock to the Ministry of Agriculture, while Professor David Jatau took over the Ministry of Livestock from Agriculture. The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested two women and a man over alleged involvement in immoral activities at a housing estate in Kano.The operation was carried out at the Sheikh Muhammad Nasiru Kabara housing estate, popularly known as Bandirawo estate, along Daura Road in Kano. The raid was led by the Commander of CSH, Hafizu Garba Adakawa, according to officials of the board. The Ondo State Police Command on Wednesday said it arrested 24 suspected cultists during an initiation ceremony in Ile-Oluji, headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of the state.
