The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that persons with disabilities (PWDs) will receive free application documents for the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The announcement was contained in JAMB’s weekly bulletin, published on the board’s website on Monday. As done in previous years, the Board said the free application documents would be processed through the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group for eligible candidates with disabilities who intend to sit the examination. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday ordered the remand of nine suspected terrorists in Kuje Correctional Centre over their alleged involvement in the June 13, 2025, attack on Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, which left about 150 people dead and several homes destroyed. A Kano-based businessman, Alhaji Rabiu Salisu, has been abducted by unknown gunmen in Rukubi Village, Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The Nasarawa State Police Command confirmed the kidnapping on Friday. The command said the incident was reported at about 4:30 pm by Murtala Abubakar of Olam Company in Rukubi Village.
