The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Abia branch, on Thursday, announced the suspension of its industrial action with immediate effect. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the strike suspension followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the union and the Abia State Government. Health authorities on Friday confirmed that about 246 suspected cases and 65 deaths have been recorded in an Ebola outbreak in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The suspected cases and 65 deaths were recorded mainly in Mongwalu and Rwampara, with four deaths among confirmed cases.
