The Election Petition Tribunal hearing a case challenging last year’s Adamawa State House of Assembly by-election in Ganye has affirmed the election of Misa Musa Jauro of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Akwa Ibom State Police Command on Wednesday said it has rescued an 81-year-old man from a suspected fraud syndicate operating in Uyo and its environs. The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO DSP Timfon John, disclosed this in a statement to newsmen in Uyo.
