The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reconstituted the leadership of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, appointing former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, as the new chairman. Three individuals have been arrested by operatives of the Lagos Police Special Fraud Unit, PSFU, over an alleged cyber blackmail and extortion plot in which a victim was threatened with the release of her nude photographs unless she paid N10 million. The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a woman, Nafisat Lateef, for allegedly poisoning a three-year-old boy at Omifon community in Odigbo Local Government Area.
