Operatives of the Edo Security Corps, ESSC, have arrested two suspects allegedly specialised in snatching of motorcycles for suspected kidnappers in the state. The suspects, identified as Yusuf and Zubairu, were arrested by the Security Corps’ operatives in the forest in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government area of the state. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has suspended the selection of examination towns for candidates registering for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Ekiti. The board disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin. Benjamin said that the suspension was to enable the board restructure examination towns to ensure closer proximity to candidates and reduce transportation challenges on examination days.
