An attack on Igbos has been reported in the Abule Ado area of Lagos State, though the police have countered. The incident occurred hours after the governorship and house of assembly took place in most parts of the state. A trending video shows two young Igbo men being carried into a vehicle after they were allegedly wounded by suspected political thugs. Gov’s nephew, security officers die, residents blame bad road

Amadu Ali, the nephew of Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, two security men, identified as Nura Sufyanu and Kabir Ali, have been killed in a motor accident at Gadar Tsuntsaye, in the Musawa Local Government Area of the state. Masari’s Director General of Social Media, El-Amin Isa, and the spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, confirmed the accident, which happened on Friday. Nollywood actress Ann Njemanze has sued famous filmmaker Zeb Ejiro and two others for infringing on her copyright. Ms Njemanze, famed for playing the titular character in the 1996 classic movie, ‘Domitilla’ has taken the famed filmmaker to court for infringing on the name ‘Domitilla’ which she had trademarked. Unity Bank gets acting chairman, appoints Obasanjo’s daughter as non-executive director

Unity Bank has announced that the chairman of its board of directors, Aminu Babangida, will be retiring from the organisation with effect from 18 March.
