The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has intercepted 2.7kg of cannabis concealed in dried onions which was to be exported to Dubai through a postal firm. The election at the polling unit of the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, representing Ifo Constituency 1 has been declared inconclusive. The returning officer of the election, Prof. Olusegun Onabanjo, said Oluomo, a candidate of the All Progressives Congress, had a total of 7,379 votes while his closest rival, Ogundele Okikiola of the Peoples Democratic Party, polled 6411, and Wemimo Owolabi of the African Democratic Congress polled 3207 votes.
