Unity Bank speaks on disclosure of customer’s information to third party

Unity Bank on Tuesday said that the issues raised over disclosure of a customer’s transaction details to an Egyptian third party via emails since 2020 have been resolved. The bank in a statement signed by Matthew Obiazikwor, Head, Communications & Brand Management on Tuesday said the case was “perculiar” and did not affect more than one customer. The Federal Government and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have evacuated another batch of stranded Nigerians in Libya.
