Troops of the Nigerian Army have intercepted two pickup vans conveying items suspected to be logistics supplies for the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, in Borno State. The development was disclosed on Friday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama, in a post via his X handle. According to Makama, the interception followed credible human intelligence indicating the movement of the items from Dapchi through the Magumeri general area of the state. Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the conversion of 654 officers across various cadres in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the state.
