A Minna High Court has convicted and sentenced five persons to death by hanging for armed robbery. The judgment was delivered by Justice Mohammed Adishetu Mohammed of High Court No. 4, who held that the prosecution had successfully proved its case beyond reasonable doubt against the defendants. One person was killed and three others injured on Monday evening in a tricycle accident along Haske Road near the Lamingo Golf Club in Jos, Plateau State. The crash, which occurred around 5 p.m., involved two commercial tricycles, popularly known as Keke Napep. The National Bureau of Statistics says prices of tomatoes, beans, garri, onions, ginger, and other food items recorded month-on-month increases in April 2026. The NBS stated this in its Selected Food Prices Watch report for April 2026, released in Abuja on Tuesday. Gox moved roughly $739 million worth of Bitcoin from its cold wallets early Tuesday, its first onchain movement in over two months, according to Arkham Intelligence data.Blockchain data shows the exchange transferred 10,306 Bitcoin (BTC), worth approximately $730.8 million, from its cold wallet to an unmarked address at 4:47 am UTC.
