Security operatives have rescued a woman and her four-month-old baby who were kidnapped during a bandit attack on Ijalu compound in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. The rescue cane after suspected bandits invaded the Ijalu area of Egbe on Wednesday evening, abducting the woman and her child during an attack along the Solid Rock School axis of the community. The Development Bank of Nigeria has disbursed more than N1tn to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises through participating financial institutions since it commenced operations in 2017. The bank disclosed this in a review of its operations up to December 2025, highlighting achievements in lending, capacity building, job creation and credit guarantees.
