Nigerian authorities have arrested a suspected gunrunner and recovered arms and ammunition during separate operations in Plateau State. Two persons have been gravely injured in a multiple road traffic accident which occurred along the Gbongan–Ife road on Friday night. The Osun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, in a First Information Report on Sunday, revealed that the accident which involved four individuals occurred at 8:45pm after Akinlalu junction on the Gbongan–Ife route.
