The United States will partially suspend the issuance of certain visas to Nigerian nationals from January 1, 2026, following a new presidential proclamation on border and national security. No fewer than 821 suspects were arrested for various offences by operatives of the Edo State Police Command in 2025. Two suspected fighters of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) were arrested in Lagos State on Sunday, 21 December, PREMIUM TIMES can report.
