The Police Command in Akwa Ibom says it secured 33 convictions out of 563 persons who were prosecuted over various crimes in the state during the year. The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom, Baba Azare, made the disclosure at a press conference in Uyo on Monday. Azare further said that the Command rescued 74 persons from human traffickers, and reunited them with their families.
