Vince Zampella, the acclaimed co-creator of the blockbuster video game franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident, gaming giant Electronic Arts confirmed on Monday. He was 55. According to local broadcaster NBC4, Zampella was driving his Ferrari on a scenic road north of Los Angeles on Sunday when the vehicle veered off the roadway for reasons yet unknown, struck a concrete barrier and caught fire. The Federal Inland Revenue Service has announced that the National Identification Number issued by the National Identity Management Commission has automatically become the Tax Identification Number for individual Nigerians. The clarification was made in a public awareness campaign on the new tax laws shared by the Service on X on Monday. According to the FIRS, registered businesses will also no longer require a separate Tax ID, as their Corporate Affairs Commission registration number will now serve as their official tax identifier under the new tax system. The state Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, stated this on Monday at the command’s year-end security review and measures put in place to guarantee a peaceful Christmas and New Year celebration in the state.
