Yobe State Police Command said it has arrested a total number of 428 suspects for various capital offences, including kidnapping, armed robbery, rape, culpable homicide, and other related crimes from January to December, 2025. The Jigawa State Police Command has imposed a total ban on the sale, possession, and use of fireworks, knockouts, and pili cards during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
