Joint security operatives have arrested five suspected criminals during a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts in Mubi metropolis, Adamawa State. Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation was carried out around 6:00 am on May 15 by troops of the 232 Battalion (Tactical), working alongside personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), local hunters, and vigilante groups. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Jennifer Adighije, has said the company is ready to support the Lagos electricity market with an additional 1,500 megawatts of power supply. A police officer has died, while two others were hospitalised in two separate road crashes that occurred on the Third Mainland Bridge and the Lagos-Badagary Expressway on Sunday.
