Five people were killed and 35 others injured in a suspected suicide bombing attack on Al-Adum Juma’at mosque inside Gomboru market in Maiduguri, Borno State. PREMIUM TIMES reports that the bomb blast occurred on Wednesday evening, when worshippers were observing their evening prayers. Armed bandits on Tuesday night attacked Ingawa town in Katsina State, injuring several residents and looting homes, just weeks after a peace parley was held with local government officials and traditional leaders. The attack was contained in a post shared on X on Wednesday by security analyst Bakatsine. According to Bakatsine, the assailants attacked the town heavily armed and moved from house to house.
