Oladipo named Serie A Femminile best defender

Shukurat Oladipo has been named best defender in the Serie A Femminile for the 2025/26 season, DAILY POST reports. Oladipo was recognised for her remarkable role in AS Roma’s title success, their third in the last four years. The 21-year-old, who can play in central defence, and right-back made 18 league appearances for the Galliorosi. AS Roma kept eight clean sheets across her 18 matches. The Nigeria international was also named in the Team of the Season. Oladipo was joined by three other AS Roma players in the selection.

Court grants cybercrime activist bail, admits DSS report

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday granted bail to activist and social media commentator, Justice Chidiebere, otherwise known as Justice Crack, in the sum of N5m over alleged cybercrime offences. Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, while ruling on the bail application, ordered that the bail bond must be backed by one surety in like sum. The court held that the surety must reside within the jurisdiction of the court at a fixed address for at least four years and must deposit proof of residence, either through a tenancy agreement or certificate of occupancy, with the court registry.
