Governor Uba Sani has renamed the Centre For Qur’anic Science of Kaduna State University after Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, the late Islamic cleric that died on November 27. The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has fined Egypt $5,000 after the players and technical staff failed to  engage the media following their clash with Zimbabwe, DAILY POST reports. At least two objects believed to be explosives have landed in two locations in Offa town, Kwara State. The objects were discovered Thursday night after residents heard a loud thud, prompting fears of a possible explosion.
