The Lagos State Government has announced a ban on the movement of goods and heavy luggage on all regulated public transport buses across the state. The enforcement of the directive is scheduled to take effect on June 1, 2026. UEFA has issued a lifetime ban from all football-related activity to former coach Petr Vlachovsky after finding him guilty of secretly filming women footballers in changing rooms and showers. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has released photos of former Minister of Power Saleh Mamman, who was arrested this morning in Kaduna State. DAILY POST had reported that Mamman, who was on the run, was recently convicted and sentenced to 75 years in prison for diverting N33.8 billion meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric power projects. The EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, confirmed that Mamman was arrested at about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
