Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes had a front-row seat to their friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
Patrick and Brittany, both 30, were among the famous guests at the Friday, July 3, ceremony in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Taking to his Instagram the next day, Patrick captioned a carousel of photos with a simple white heart emoji. In the snaps, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback looked dapper in a navy suit with a bowtie that complemented Brittany’s ice blue gown. The mom of three accessorized her ensemble with a diamond choker and drop earrings and wore her blonde tresses in a half-up-half down waves.
Patrick and Brittany’s attendance at the nuptials marks a full-circle moment for their friendship with Kelce, who served as a groomsman in the couple’s March 2022 wedding. The following year, Kelce and Swift, both 36, struck up a romance, with the pop superstar quickly becoming close pals with Brittany and Patrick.
Over the course of nearly three years, Swift and Brittany have cheered on Kelce and Patrick at numerous Kansas City Chiefs games, and the foursome have enjoyed a slew of public outings, from downtime in Amsterdam during Swift’s Eras Tour in July 2024 to a day at the US Open in September 2024.
In a February 2025 press conference, Patrick reflected on his and Brittany’s tight-knit bond with Swift.
“I just know Taylor better now and I feel like I’ve built a great friendship with her,” he noted at the time. “And my wife and Taylor have built a friendship as well.”
The previous year, Patrick raved about Swift in his April 2024 Time cover story, pointing out that he’s “met a lot of famous people” during his career, but the singer is “probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.”
Patrick added that Swift is “never not working,” elaborating, “Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.”
“Even when she’s talking about football, when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together,” he continued. “It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.”

One year later, Patrick and Brittany expressed their excitement when Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025.
“Two of the most genuine people meet and fall in love,” Brittany gushed via her Instagram Story at the time. “Just so happy for these two.”
Patrick, for his part, reposted the couple’s engagement photos with three red heart emojis.
In addition to forming a connection with Patrick and Brittany, Swift has also spent quality time with the duo’s three kids, Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 16 months.
“She’s made different treats that have been around my house — muffins and donuts and stuff like that,” Patrick said of Swift on “The Drive” podcast in October 2024. “Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes, and I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them.”
In June, Bronze adorably recognized Swift in a photo hanging at Arrowhead Stadium. In a video shared via the Chiefs’ Instagram account, Bronze pointed at the image and said, “It’s Taylor.”
