England head coach, Thomas Tuchel, has given four Arsenal players in his World Cup squad an extra holiday.
According to Sky Sports, most of the England squad will arrive in Florida on Monday evening to begin their World Cup pre-tournament training preparation.
The report added that 21 of the 26 players on the England roster will gather from various locations to meet in Florida and begin their pre-tournament training camp.
However, the four Arsenal players who played in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain will join the main England squad a few days later.
Tuchel decided to give Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke, and Eberechi Eze extra vacation time to rest and recover after they all played in the Champions League final.
The four Arsenal players, along with Dean Henderson, who won the UEFA Europa Conference League with Crystal Palace, are likely to miss this week’s warm-up match against New Zealand.
But they should be ready to play against Costa Rica next week.
