Head Coach Eric Chelle has named a 26-man squad for Nigeria’s participation in the upcoming Unity Cup, with Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo earning his first call-up after switching allegiance to the Super Eagles.
The squad was unveiled on the team’s X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.
Okonkwo is one of three goalkeepers invited as Nigeria prepares for the tournament in London.
The Unity Cup is a four-nation international football invitational tournament held in London, England.
The 2026 Unity Cup is scheduled to take place from May 26 to May 30, 2026, at The Valley Stadium (home of Charlton Athletic FC) in London, United Kingdom.
Nigeria will play Zimbabwe on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, while India will face Jamaica on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The winners will advance to the final.
