Chelsea forward, João Pedro, has named the player he wants to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Speaking recently in an interview with TNT Sports Brazil, the Brazilian international tipped Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane to win the top individual award this year.
Pedro explained that he will be rooting for the England international because he is a fantastic footballer.
“He [Kane] was already having extraordinary numbers in the Premier League, but now seeing him at Bayern, we can really get a picture of the quality that Harry Kane possesses,” Pedro said ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday.
“I have a lot of admiration for him. I played against him when I was at Watford, and he was at Tottenham, and he totally dominated the game.
“I’m always rooting for him because he’s a fantastic player. Can he win the Ballon d’Or? In my opinion, yes. Because he’s an extraordinary player.”
