Ikorodu City striker, Joseph Arumala heads the list of home-based players selected by Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle for the 2026 Unity Cup, DAILY POST reports.
Arumala, who has represented Nigeria at the U-17 level in the past, has scored 13 goals for Ikorodu City in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
According to SCORENigeria, two other Ikorodu City players will also be included in the squad.
Enugu Rangers have two players, and both Rivers United and Shooting Stars have a player each.
The six players are already in Abuja to apply for entry visas to the United Kingdom.
Chelle picked the players after watching three NPFL games in recent weeks.
The 48-year-old is expected to release his full list this week.
The Super Eagles will face the Warriors of Zimbabwe in the semi-final of the Unity Cup at the Valley, London on Tuesday, May 26.
