Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has warned his players they must remain fully focused as they chase a ninth Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title.
The Flying Antelopes maintained their position at the summit after an impressive 2-0 victory over Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa on Sunday night.
Midfielder Chidiebere Nwobodo gave Rangers the lead one minute after the half hour mark.
Experienced forward, Godwin Obaje sealed the win with the second goal five minutes from time.
It was Obaje’s 12th league goal of the season.
With two matches remaining before the end of the campaign, Ilechukwu declared that it is important for his players to remain concentrated on the task ahead.
“It was a good game for us. I’m happy but we must not lose concentration. It was a great game,” Ilechukwu said.
“I’m not too happy with the second half because we didn’t play well, but our defenders did well and our goalkeeper played their roles well.”
