Anas Yusuf has expressed gratitude to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Nasarawa United, for the opportunity to play for the club.
Yusuf spent four years with the Solid Miners before his move abroad.
The forward left Nasarawa United to join Algerian top-flight side, JS Saoura, last week.
Yusuf is adamant that Nasarawa United will succeed with the calibre of players in the team.
“Without the platform given to me by Nasarawa United, I wouldn’t be here. I am grateful for the support I have received from every member of the club,” Yusuf told Nasarawa United’s media.
“Nobody is indispensable in a team. I strongly believe that Nasarawa United will still succeed even in my absence because there are a lot of great players in the club.
“But my thoughts and prayers are always with them to succeed, as I will continue to cherish every moment I had in the team.”
