Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, says his team is still in contention to win the title this season.
After beating Kano Pillars 2-0 in their last game, Rangers moved up to third place in the NPFL table, just two points behind leaders Rivers United.
Ilechukwu emphasized that the team’s focus is on creating balance between new and old players.
He also highlighted the team’s plan and structure, which he said won’t change with the introduction of young players.
“We introduced some new players in the game against Kano Pillars, we must find a way to create balance in the team became some are tired,” Ilechukwu told Puyaka.
“We will keep on working on the missed chances, with time the team will settle.
“We have a plan and structure which it can’t change with the introduction of young players in our team but no matter what happen we take it in good faith. Rangers remain a title contender this season.”
