Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the list of criminals the United States is set to deport to Nigeria.
In a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Sani said none of the prospective deportees is from Kaduna.
DAILY POST reports that the United States, through its Department of Homeland Security, DHS, has announced plans to deport at least 79 convicted Nigerians listed on its “worst-of-the-worst” criminal register.
It said that those affected have been convicted of serious crimes and are scheduled for removal under ongoing immigration enforcement efforts.
Reacting, the former lawmaker said, “I have seen the list of those to be deported from the US whom they call “Worst of the Worst Criminals”.
“There’s none from Kaduna State. Please check if someone from your state is there.”
