Ingryd Academy, a technology talent outsourcing and training company, has gone fully digital and also become an examination centre, expanding access to its courses globally.
The announcement was made by Managing Director, Khadijat Abdulkadir, during the Panel Session, “The Talent Playbook: The Tech Talent Playbook – Raising Next-Gen Talents,” at the Tech Revolution Africa Conference over the weekend in Lagos.
A statement from the firm on Sunday stated that Abdulkadir explained that the shift to digital aims to provide users with more flexible access to courses, compared to the past, when all classes were conducted physically.
“Ingryd is launching its fully digital services. In the past, we have been teaching our classes physically across all our locations. But this year, we decided to provide our users more access to our courses, more on-demand, and also scale to support other countries where we are seeing traction,” she said.
She added that learners can now take crash courses, self-paced courses, or hybrid courses, while the Academy’s three-month programs in Cybersecurity, IT Risks, IT Audit, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence remain available.
“We offer certification for every course. From today, any class you take from Ingryd will be recognized in 182 countries worldwide. So, Ingryd today means certification, employment opportunities, and credibility,” Abdulkadir said.
The MD also confirmed that Ingryd is now an examination centre, with facilities in Lagos, Abuja, Amsterdam, London, and the United States. Students can take exams on-site upon completion of courses, eliminating the need to travel to other centres.
“You don’t have to go to an exam centre to be certified. As of today, we have five exam centres – Lagos, Abuja, Amsterdam, London, and the US,” she explained.
Abdulkadir highlighted the large skills gap in Nigeria, attributing it to institutional challenges, and urged collaboration between the government, private sector, and educational institutions to find lasting solutions.
“Skills gap is due to an institutional problem. It is large because it cuts across the government and the private sector. It is a country-wide problem, not one sector’s responsibility. When we have an institutional problem, the solution is ensuring all stakeholders come together,” she said.
She added that Ingryd partners with governments and private organisations to make opportunities more accessible and affordable. “That is why at Ingryd, we partner with governments and the private sector, scaling opportunities by making them affordable,” Abdulkadir said.
The move positions Ingryd Academy as a global leader in tech talent training, combining digital learning, certification, and on-site examination to bridge the skills gap and support career growth in Nigeria and beyond.
Relatedly, Abdulkadir noted that the link or QR code for joining the wait list to start purchasing from February 9th is open, adding that all courses and certifications are available for purchase from that date.
