The High Chiefs Bode and Betty Osedimilehin Foundation has sponsored the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board registration for 300 indigent and less-privileged students across underserved communities in Ondo State.
A statement from the foundation indicated that the gesture was aimed at promoting access to education and ensuring equal opportunities for children. It also reaffirmed the foundation’s continued commitment to educational advancement and youth empowerment.
“The initiative forms part of the HCCBO Foundation’s broader mission to support young Nigerians whose academic ambitions are often constrained by financial hardship.
“By eliminating the cost barrier associated with JAMB registration, the foundation is providing these students with a fair opportunity to pursue tertiary education and compete on equal footing with their peers,” the statement read.
The HCCBO Foundation was established in April 2024 by Dr Olabode Osedimilehin and Mrs Oluwatoyin Osedimilehin.
The statement noted that the beneficiaries were selected through a transparent, merit-based, and community-driven process to ensure that the intervention reached those most in need.
It further read, “The programme reflects the foundation’s conviction that education remains the most sustainable pathway to breaking the cycle of poverty and driving long-term national development.
“HCCBO Foundation reaffirms its unwavering dedication to youth development, human capital growth, and social inclusion, emphasising that investment in education today represents a strategic investment in the future of Nigeria.”
