The Kwankwasiyya Movement Nigeria has appointed two new spokespersons as part of efforts to strengthen its communication and public engagement.
In a statement signed by Dr Yusuf Ibrahim Kofarmata, a former commissioner, on behalf of the movement, Hon. Habib Saleh Mailemo was named Spokesperson I, while Capt. Mansur Umar Kurugu was appointed Spokesperson II.
According to the statement, the appointments are intended to sharpen the movement’s message and prepare it for forthcoming political developments, where clear ideas, united messaging and disciplined communication are essential.
Hon. Mailemo will serve as the principal voice of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, speaking on its political positions, policies and overall direction. Capt. Kurugu will support the communication team by coordinating messaging, providing prompt responses to issues, and conducting outreach at the grassroots level.
The statement added: “The leadership of the movement, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is confident that these appointments will further project Kwankwasiyya as a people-driven political movement anchored on social justice, equity, and progressive leadership. Members of the public and the media are hereby informed that all official communications of the movement shall be conveyed through these appointed spokespersons.”
The leadership of the movement, led by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, expressed confidence that the new spokespersons will help present Kwankwasiyya as a people-focused political movement founded on social justice, fairness and progressive leadership.
The statement also informed the public and the media that all official statements and positions of the Kwankwasiyya Movement will now be communicated through the two appointed spokespersons.
Dr Kofarmata added that the movement remains committed to serving the masses and promoting politics grounded in clear principles and values.
