Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has declared that Nasarawa United deserved their victory over his team.
Mohammed’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
He admitted that his team started slowly, which gave the hosts the edge in the game .
Mohammed also blamed missed chances for the defeat.
“Not a bad game for us. I think we started slowly and that gave our opponents, Nasarawa United, the edge over us,” Mohammed reacted after the game.
“Despite effecting some tactical changes, we couldn’t convert our chances, but we will work towards changing that, going forward.”
Niger Tornadoes dropped to eighth position in the league table with 29 points from 21 matches.
