A petroleum-ladden tanker, one motorcycle and other properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed by fire in Oyo State.
DAILY POST reports that the incident occurred at a petroleum station in Saki in Oyo State on Wednesday.
Chairman of Oyo State Fire Service, Hon Maroof Akinwande confirmed the incident.
He said, “Upon arrival, it was discovered that the filling station, a DAF trailer tanker reg. No AAB943YL (Abuja) loaded with 50,000litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) one Bajaj motorcycle and the filling station engulfed by serious flames and thick smoke.
“The fire affected the petrol Station, Daf trailer tanker reg no AAB943YL (Abuja), one Bajaj motorcycle and 3 dispense pumps”.
