The Ogun State Government on Sunday, announced the payment of end-of-year bonus to its workers.
The State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.
According to the statement, the bonus is designed to appreciate workers for their dedication throughout the year and to acknowledge their contributions to the successful implementation of the ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda.
Onasanya revealed that the gesture, intended to enhance morale and encourage greater dedication to duty, applies to all category of state employees.
He said, “The bonus also acknowledges the role of public servants in driving the government’s Building Our Future Together agenda.
“This gesture cuts across all categories of state employees and is aimed at boosting morale and encouraging greater commitment to duty.”
The statement said the workers welcomed the bonus, describing it as timely and generous.
DAILY POST reports that the end-of-year bonus, which has become a regular feature of the Governor Dapo Abiodun administration, is viewed as a reflection of the government’s sustained commitment to workers’ welfare.
