The Accord party has reminded the government of Nigeria that the persistent challenge of insecurity remains a concern for every Nigerian family.
The party appealed for renewed commitment to protecting lives and property, strengthening national cohesion, and addressing the root causes of violence through inclusive governance, economic opportunity, and social justice.
Accord, in statement signed by its national Chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, said this is a season that symbolizes hope, peace, and renewal, adding “that our nation’s greatest strength lies in our shared humanity and collective resolve.”
The Accord leadership calls on all Nigerians to renew their faith in the nation, the democracy, and in themselves.
“Despite the challenges we face, Nigeria remains a country of immense promise, resilience, and talent. Our democracy, though still evolving, belongs to the people and must continue to be strengthened through unity, participation, and respect for the rule of law.
“We urge Nigerians to remain united across ethnic, religious, and political lines. Unity is not a choice, it is a necessity for national progress. Only together can we overcome division and build a peaceful and prosperous nation.
“At this critical time, we also call on leaders at all levels to pursue peace, justice, and people-oriented policies and projects. Leadership must always place the welfare, dignity, and security of citizens above all other considerations.
