PalmPay, one of the leading digital banking platforms in Nigeria, has launched a N400m festive rewards campaign aimed at giving users cash prizes and international travel experiences.
The digital bank said in a statement on Monday that the campaign runs from 17 December 2025 to 8 January 2026. It is designed to encourage everyday transactions on the PalmPay app. Central to the promotion is the “World Travel Carnival”, an interactive card collection experience where users earn city cards for London, New York, Dubai, Sydney, and Cape Town by completing transactions. Collecting all five city cards forms a “World Card”, which unlocks a share of the prize pool.
Users can swap extra cards with friends or other PalmPay users to complete additional World Cards, increasing their potential rewards.
Cash prizes are distributed based on the number of World Cards collected, while top performers on the app leaderboard are eligible for fully sponsored international trips.
Each travel grand prize covers visa fees, round-trip airfare, hotel accommodation for five days and four nights, meals, local transportation, and sightseeing activities. Winners are determined through a transparent leaderboard system at the end of each campaign round on 25 December, 31 December, and 8 January.
PalmPay has set rules to ensure fairness, prohibiting cheating, the use of bots, fake accounts, and other forms of manipulation. Each user can win only one international trip during the campaign.
The Head of Marketing and Communications at PalmPay, Femi Hanson, said the initiative is aimed at turning routine banking into meaningful rewards. “With the World Travel Carnival as the headline activation, we are reinforcing PalmPay’s promise of being the smarter way to bank, where everyday transactions can unlock bigger opportunities,” he said.
The campaign runs alongside PalmPay’s broader Purple December brand campaign, which highlights the company’s key community and brand initiatives for the year.
