The Plateau State Specialist Hospital has arrested a man, Sani Umar, for allegedly vandalising and stealing 15 bundles of electric cables from the hospital’s Children’s Ward.
Umar, said to be from the Gangare area of Jos, was intercepted by the hospital’s internal security team after he allegedly wrapped the cables in ward curtains in an attempt to disguise them as clothing and smuggle them out of the facility.
