Atalanta will delay Ademola Lookman’s departure for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.
Lookman was named in Nigeria’s 55-man preliminary squad by head coach Eric Chelle on Tuesday. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the winger is expected to make the Super Eagles’ final 28-man squad for the competition.
The Super Eagles will open camp for AFCON 2025 in Cairo, Egypt, on 10 December, with all players expected to report the following day.
