Witch’s milk, more properly known as neonatal milk or galactorrhoea, is a temporary condition in newborn infants in which they produce a small amount of milky fluid from their nipples. This phenomenon is physiological, which means it is a normal, natural process rather than a sign of illness.
It occurs commonly and can be seen in both full-term and premature babies. It affects both male and female newborns equally.
